Great stuff man... and all the Memories ... Those WERE the days when racin was fun. Back then at my home track .... all the post race pit partyin... stay up drinkin all night til the sun come up, if you were the last one out just had to make sure to lock the gate.. Miss those days. Thanks for the memories! Love this, reminds me of when I was young and dating my husband although he wasn't a racing enthustastic you know men will do anything when your 1st dating. He learned to like it after I bough season passes. thanks again!!

I remember going to a World of Outlaws sprint car race there in the late 80’s. Steve Kinser blew his motor early, got it changed and came from the rear and won it

Man, that brought back so many memories. Your heat race at 11:30, the track was a muddy mess, goal was to stay out of trouble and wait for the feature at 46:30. You need to find more to those videos if you have them.

Seriously, someone was running a '74 Dodge Monaco sedan and a '73 Chevy Estate Wagon. Those drivers would of been my heroes. As a kid, and even now full-size C-body Mopars are my favorite. If I'd only knew you could of actually raced them...,.....

It was a great mix of cars back then, if you found the right station wagon it would have a chevy 400 in it with a limited slip rear end..

I ran a 63 Buick Skylark with a 410 factory Big Block in it. Was originally a 3 speed on the column car but We (my Dad & I) torched holes in the floor and connected pull rods to use as a shift link.😂 No, I never did any good in it. My best finish was a seventh in the feature. I was 15 just getting out of Go-kart racing and into a Hobby Stock class. This was in 1988.
