@@hjr2450 so would that have made it fair for the 71 car of Hudson O'Neal when he was dropped from his championship ride last year the number one then this season he got back up to 5th and he still was not in contention I think some people need to look at the view of the drivers the drivers are doing what they can to get in the postseason but at the same time you can't just say that driver was good just cuz they're in the top four it doesn't work that way the driver that wanted it the most what's going to be flawless still I think that there's flaws in the postseason Lucas oil modified late model series and I will stick to that

He led the points all year and had more wins on the Tour then the other 3 drivers, then Lucas changed the format of the points 3/4 way through the season. If you couldnt see that then you have no clue what racing is or about. You can hate on RTJ all you want. He deserves it and shouldve been back to back Lucas Oil Late Model Champion. These races are just the right length in my opinion. Cup races, too long. Sprint car races, too short but these cars run just the right distance.

i agree that sprint car races are way too short, they are like watching a heat race, run 50 - 75 lappers, if no caution near the halfway mark, throw one, or do something to get better gas mileage lol

Nobody talking about Devin Moran who had a hell of a run- was in 20th at one point and came back to 4th and went from 4th to 2nd in points and almost caught RTJ. Not sure how the points work but I wonder if RTJ would've had a problem the last couple laps how that would've shaken out.

What feels like the 1st time in a decade JD has a mechanical failure at Eldora in the 49, crazy. T-Mac kinda threw that away a bit. BP32 is still on a dominant roll. RTJ got his due and should be back to back Lucas Oil Champion.
