miss the days of big six, WORCS and SRA gp once a month.....switched to a streetbike and hate it, going back to dirt soon...... owned KX, RMZ, YZFS.....the 2009 KTM 450 XCF was best bike I ever had, including motocross

Great info.. Also a over 40 A cross country racer.. Running cone valves and WP trax shock on a 23 and 24 350XCF. I would recommend taking out a rear engine mount bolt on each side. You'd be shocked how much it changes the flex in the frame. Seems to calm down the rigidity. Haven't tried any aftermarket engine mounts.

Putting an extra spring on the brake pedal and use carbon pads helps to keep the brake temps down for me

Might be in the video, but I missed it. What seat are you running?

I'm kinda glad I didn't wait for the 24's when I bought my 23 500 mid year. I'm seeing alot of negative feedback regarding the stiff new chassis.

We expect an updated chassis for 2025 which could be beneficial and help with a lot of the complaints we have on the new chassis.

Wouldn’t the front end benefit from a 20mm clamp vs 24mm ?!

More rake of the 24 gives more stability

It seems like most of this is about the bike being too rigid and twitchy. Honestly if you rode the stock 2023 next to a previous model would you not prefer the older one?
@DirtBikeTest Жыл бұрын
This bike does have a lot of good traits and does many things better than the old one, but that was the one fault we chased when setting this bike up. It varies on the rider, terrain, etc which bike would be preferred, but as it sits in this video we feel we've gotten it close to as comfortable and stable as the old one without sacrificing the good traits it has.
