Gosh Mike, how did you ever fix it without a computer telling you what to replace? Seriously, too many mechanics these days won't try to figure out a problem, even if it will repeat in front of them, if the OBD doesn't tell them there is a problem, and what it is. Real diagnostics are becoming a lost art. Well done brother!

"That's what it should do" is correct sir. Turns out, that if you have TBI, you won't get a fuel pulse either when your Ig Mod goes bad, and it will. Mine just did like in phreakin' JANUARY! and we nearly froze to death fixing it!

Is that a red MSD box? When an ignition box starts going bad, it will give an intermittent no start condition until it goes completely kaput. Yes, I have experience with that.
