Always good to have a plan B. Pre-tripping is essential, I wish all my drivers were better at it. Some are but the majority just want to make sure the radio and a/c work. LOL. Man can you even think about doing excavating without a trachoe.

@@DIRT-BOSS I use to own a large one in my younger days but I just have a small bobcat trachoe, track loader and toolcat. I'm not doing anything larger than landscaping for the wife. LOL Although it does feel good to rent a large one occasionally to do a big job.

I was looking at Hydrema videos when i stumbled on yours. Want to load stumps with a cat 308. Exactly what you're doing. Trying to decide between a Prinoth T7R and a Hydrema articulated.

@DIRT-BOSS I'm in the South Okanagan area of British Columbia. Bit of a way to ship it! Besides, I need a/c. Apparently the a/c never works in those things. Gets hot here. Northern tip of the Sonoran desert.

That is a nice solution. How do you like your Komatsu 88? I have never been a fan of Komatsu. Have you thought about getting a larger articulated truck say a 25 ton model? I can see why you were kinda lost when Meek was out. He is a good hand.

Brian its my second Komatsu had the PC75 before I do like them. The problem with the 25 ton for me is mobility and the amount of damage they do to the ground.. Bigger work will bring bigger equipment tho! Meek definitely good worker 💪 Thanks

@@DIRT-BOSS True a 25 ton model probably wouldn't have made that turn. Plus I'm sure you can haul the Hydrema with your tag trailer. Otherwise you would need a lowboy to haul a larger truck.
