Those eccentric collars inside the spider box make it simple to set the grade on those lateral feeds. I’ve never had the luxury of using them. But have tussled with shimming and sealing instead. It makes sense to dig the outer walls first… there is a similar operation in woodworking. A square mortising chisel can be used to make rectangular slots. However if you don’t cut out the ends of the slot before cutting the middle out, the workpiece or the chisel will drift toward the void. Learned that on the first bedroom suite that I made. I spent more time squaring the ends of the mortises with a hand chisel, than I did cutting them with the machine! Boss man the install came out splendid!

@DIRT-BOSS

Yes the fresh air vent goes in the house then out the roof.. or the side whatever is designed.. the clean out is also designed with a trap inside the house right before exits the foundation

@capablemanyathi2965 Жыл бұрын
@@DIRT-BOSS Thank you for the response. So in short, that roof vent is enough to supply air all the way to the leach field since you don't have any vent by the tank or leach field?

@@capablemanyathi2965 each system is different designed usually we don't put fresh air vents outside the house that's all I can tell you that's how the engineers design them here but you have to check with your local codes and engineer

I agree, I want my tanks as far away from the house as possible. Don’t want the tank in the yard next to the house. Also in Texas you have to have risers extending 4” above grade with green lids on each tank/chamber and definitely don’t want those right in the way.
