Took my trail s1000 down that trail by mistake. Got stuck at the rock at the truck. Me a buddy where there for an hour. Found some beer's in the truck and drank them until some random guys came down and helped rope off the roll cage around a tree to get me down. Good stuff

Congrats to stepping out of your comfort zone. If you lived in a area like TN-Ky-WV you’d become a lot more comfortable with those type of trails. These machines are capable of so much more then we realize. Not sure if you’ve upgraded skids but if trails like these are in your future definitely upgrade those. How much tire pressure was you running? Jake's rears looked pretty inflated without much give. I am glad you had a good time here. If you like this style riding, check out The CanAm Crew, especially their Ivy Branch climbs. They did these trails also, but Ivy has some crazy climbs. I think you would love it on your next trip this way.

There's a lot of trails way more gnarly than what you can access on the HMT system. Idk why, but the HMT has gotten everyone not from around here to call them the "outlaw trails. ".... You can ride them all over Southern WV, and I can ride over into KY and VA without touching the trail system, too.

Update.... I see you found a few good trails. They're all over, though. Just try and experience more of the trails outside the HMT system whenever you get a chance. In the McDowell and Mingo County area. Not Logan and Lincoln County.
