How do you get back? Have someone with a truck and trailer meet you? Just wondered how that works.
@snogod420Ай бұрын
@chuckjones5379 trailered them down to the Mexico border then drove them home. We live close to Canada in WA. Took the 3 sxs off the trailer and put the pickup on it and sent the tow truck driver on his way and our adventure began.

That looked like a great time . Your xpedition looks to be the perfect overland rig. I use to have a canopy on my pickup and spent many camping trips sleeping in the box of the truck with a full size mattress lol.

That's a blast of a trail.the 2 camp grounds by the CCC BRIDGE IS AWESOME. IN THE SUMMER. STAY THERE AND WALK 15 minutes , And then you can tube down the river back to the campground. Taking about a hour and a half to get back by the water . Been running that trail and that area since I was 8 years old on my little xr 75... great trails and comes out right by my shop and house. It's about 30 to 45 minutes to the CCC Bridge. It looks like you like guy's are at the sand banks. That's about an hour, From my house and shop. Great trails, and they also groom those trails from Dingmans to the northwest end of Houghton Lake.... cool trip.. ... take care.... I'm going ridein right now 66 degrees out and 67 percent humidity it's beautiful outside right now... take care.......Bob

One thing I learned when camping in cold weather that helps a lot to stay warm at night….put a bunch of hand warmers in your sleeping bag or under your blankets and you will stay warm all night
