I agree, it's the difference of environment, f1 drivers are just as impressive, because you have race lines, tyre temperature and tons of other components to take into consideration, same with rally driving, both are just as complex and impressive, its why when someone calls either boring I debate it with them. Because both are not boring, but it's noticeable why one would think it is, if they don't understand what's behind the visible race itself

There could be multiple reasons The first one and probably the most likely is that the hood latch just broke and the hood popped open Another reason could be that there was a problem with the engine and that it needed extra cooling but this one is unlikely.
