Company I work for has a fleet of them, 2yr old to 12yrs, 14T to 50T general maintenance and a few hoses!!! That is it. Newer ones dont have as easy engine oil drain or filter spin off position as those 2 years older, but the operators have no complaints and parts and service that we dont do are easily available.

The whine of the oil pressure on the controls if I said that right, is quite noticeable on our end as well sounding like its hungry for a little more juice to make her operate at peak. I really never got good enough to hold grade with a bucket on those and found myself either coming up too fast or just a tad deeper than intended. I did a bunch of pads for rental cabins to be setting on in a future time and just wanted those to set up best they could as our clay is relentless in jello with a teaspoon of water present. We have highways that are not any harder to dig than that clay if it gets set. It came up in either sheets or large clumps and that was new to me. I sure would of enjoyed a first day with one of them.... your buddy, I can't pull his name out of my head at the moment sold me when he said it was easier than any he seen to work on. That is what I am supposed to do anyway is fix, not operate. I hate machines that take only their tools to get lines out to fix/replace. Someday someone will make a good fitting that goes right across the board. I have owned tools that only work on their equipment and that is embarrassing to pull up on a job with a half million dollar service vehicle and can't take it apart without a trip to town. Trust me when I say I have made tools from very expensive tools that were a one use only and it hurts that pocket book quick.

Sort of a hybrid between a mini and a full size excavator with the boom swivel right at the cab and the little dozer blade. At least that's my take on it. It would be perfect for contractors who do a lot of jobs with tight access that are a little too big for the standard mini. I liked seeing the drain holes there in the bottom of the bucket as well as the lifting hook.

It’s a fine line I think between sponsorship and being asked to give a fair evaluation. DP isn’t getting money I guess but benefits from no wear and tear on his own machine.
