While I'm not a late model fan, I'm definitely a Dirtrackr fan. Watched the video all the way through, liked and commented because I'm doing my part to help make Dirtrackr more successful. Thanks for all you do Justin!

He is really correct about the streaming. I have absolutely tuned into numerous dirt races and I am hooked. I definitely will attend some races in person during the 25 season!!!!

I grew up in southern Indiana. We had CJ Rayburn and masters built which were less than 100 miles apart. They were both successful for about 3 decades. I won races in both cars.

What people don't understand is too many of one brand will make not enough winning in a series to help pay for the money they are spending. That is what happened to HTF and other better drivers than them is why many have left Longhorn.
@JimmyJolly-d8v20 күн бұрын
I don't believe HTF give themselves enough time in a Longhorn to figure things out on them . They went back to Capitol to basically be a house car . Plus they have a big name because of KZbin not because they set the world on fire against the best drivers in the Nation. They have done a ok job against the stiff competition the last 2 years but KZbin made them famous not winning races . Their biggest problem is they need a good crew chief with National touring experience to get better but they say they didn't have the money for that and none are available if they did . They switched from Langenfelder to Kubota you would think they would have plenty money to hire one because langenfelder bought everything they had when they switched

Seems odd, 20+ years ago outlaws, lolms and majority of the regional tours were overpopulated with Rocket. At one point at Eldora 24 of the 25 starting cars were Rocket chassis. 90s and 2000s saw the same thing with MasterBilt/Rayburn/GRT while Richards was trying to get rocket going. Late model chassis wars have a weird eb and flow.
@jonkluver791219 күн бұрын
@ClarkBoyzRacing right, if there are 10 longhorns in the top 10, some may say he 'failed' 9 customers. Chassis builder job probably doesn't pay enough.

I was sad to see HTF leave Longhorn, then more sad to hear them say they were not getting the support they needed. So it makes me wonder what actually went wrong. I haven't seen their program get any better with Capitol. So I guess we as fans are not going to find that out. Personally, I believe that the team had better success in a Longhorn. But that's just my opinion.
@mjriemen20 күн бұрын
HTF is pretty unique because they made their name from KZbin, and not winning races. I would have to think they got just as much support as anyone else who just purchased a chassis, probably even more… However… theyre not at the level of Rumley, Davenport, RTJ, etc etc… so I’m not sure what they were or were not expecting.
@jonkluver791219 күн бұрын
@mjriemen I agree. At the end of the day I think it was a business decision. Not a bad break up story. Imo i think they are more consistent right now.

I love the Joiners. A great group of guys. You are correct they got their recognition because of You Tube and not because of winning or at least a top team. Gotta have the talent to be at that level and I don't think they have that talent. Yes a really good 604 crate driver or Modified driver.
