Greg Wilson is a great ambassador for Hercules tires. Talk to him many times at different tracks in Pennsylvania and Ohio he always remembers if he talks to you before and seems genuinely happy to see how you're doing and talk to you about what's going on

Hey man, thanks for explaining how sponsorship actually works. In my type of business almost everything is done by contract. If i gave a vendor special product placement for a special favor, like maybe race tickets, I’d be fired. Great show!

Being a sponsor never brought me 1 customer in any of my businesses. I just did it to help the guys out and it was cool. The more rough guys became on the track the better it was for me to keep my money in my pocket so I didn't have to make bail. So nowadays none of my businesses give a penny to racing. My good friend that owned one of if not the biggest sporting goods store chains in the US (still around and bigger than ever) that put millions of dollars in to dirt track racing but he did not want the name of that store on anything he gave money to. He did not want any bad feelings towards the store. He sponsored and owned stock cars and late models without the name on any of them. He was a large sponsor for a track and came really close to buying a famed track. All without 1 mention of his stores because it is smart business. I know a guy that owned a bank that did the same locally to him. Never a mention of the bank but there was lots of money invested. Hang on there, you lost most people with a widget There actually is a Widget. It's a razor blade scraper. Works great.

Not 100% sure. But do remember hearing that the John Christner Trucking sponsor of WoO Andy Hillenburg included the use of the Race Hauler and fuel paid for. His race hauler painted up white, with the reflective tape was one of the nices ones around.

I sponsor a modified and a Crate late that race at Kankakee County Speedway. I do it just because I'm friends with those 2 guys. And, they do have a sticker on their cars with my first name. It's just because.... 🏁

I thought the reason for Hoker leaving Pierce was another company offered more money to be in that spot on the car?
@christopheroelkers94097 күн бұрын
We'll never know the full story on that. Hoker did a KZbin a week or two ago (with Chaz maybe) and he would not go into details. I doubt Pierce will ever say. Maybe Angie will go on one of her rants. There are plenty of rumors out there that are pretty easy to find regarding what happened. My guess is that given the people involved, it's messy.
