This is the best config I've found because: "The config features a barebones environment, but somewhat detailed playermodels and viewmodels, as well as healing auras and additional effects that would matter. In short, it keeps everything that would matter, while removing everything that's just eyecandy."

Can some1 help me with my problem? I have pc that runs bf1 in high graphics 144 fps, in dirty bomb I have maxed graphics but the game looks like potato made in 1990's. Pls help me

Those train textures look like something out of Half Life 1. I don't see how hi-rez textures can hamper your performance. That's usually the one thing I never mess with.

TheUnchainedMind I might turn the textures back on high or something, I didn't change this myself, just copied someone elses useroption file

I actually found a really good configure that actually looks decent and gives me 120 fps constantly. DB can run fine on high...you just need to tweek some settings. s0jooman The only downside of that config is that it doesn't show the auras of healing stations and heart beat sensors. Or does someone know which cvar affects this?

Hi there, does anyone have any fps boost tips or a fps boosting config for me? I'm suffering here with my shitty laptop and cant afford a game pc at the moment. Almost all the configs I find that are updated, make the quality so low that I cant even see my enemys anymore with that shitty 800x600 resolution... And playing with 22/25 fps on avarage is just a slight bit to low... 30 fps or higher is perfectly playable but Im having dificulties with getting there. Could anyone help me with this or have some tips for me? other then windows type of stuff? Becaus i already have bare minimum running on this laptop and an external storage for the so called Readyboost option. So I mean any unknown windows tips maybe or just things i can do ingame to improve my fps.. And to add to this I have 2 questions: 1) Is it neccecary to put the game configs on read only, or not? 2) Do you also now if programs like 'razor' or any other game booster program actually work or is this a bunch of bull## ? Sorry if my grammar sucks, English is not my native language. Greetings from the Netherlands!

René van de berg razor booster program wont worked for me it just make the game even laggy just go to your task manager and set db priority in high. And try to setting ur graphic on minimal.

CoffeeAndScones Yes, you can change basically everything, that's what Outc1der has done. I just don't know this though
