I like that the Lynx has armor piercing rounds. They need ways to differentiate it from the Kar98. Also, worrying about the Lynx helps prevent players from camping out in the BRDM and just sitting around waiting for the endgame.

lol chocos complaint in the beginning is so real. Can’t count the times I’ve had or watched people make really stupid plays, and by pure luck not get punished. Like full aggression through an open area at just the right time when everyone looks away so they don’t get 3rd partied.

On a side note, his complaints about the brdm and lynx is not wrong per se, but def not right either. His opinion is from a purely competitive mindset, where everything needs to be “fair”. A rare weapon with only 10 shots but overly powerful, is perfectly fine, especially in casual and ranked games.

@@whispers2155 agreed. what about the panzerfaust? is it too OP? It can knock everyone in BRDM at once. downside is it is a one shot use. Lynx is powerful, but reduced ammo capacity of 10. Bolt action rifle can knock level 1 and 2 helmets with one shot, but slow fire rate. DMR's can shoot quicker, but less overall damage. IDK. everything has a pro and a con. Want the best gear? Push Airdrops. Want the strongest vehicle? RNG with flare. Sometimes luck is the best part of this game. Zone, loot, circles, cover... but it can definitely be a frustrating part when it doesnt go in your favor.

The Lynx on Brdm action happened to me the other day. Was the first shot I heard of the Lynx that game so I didn't really have it on my mind. I was waiting for anyone to start shooting the Brdm, but wasn't ready to just straight up die, kind of like the guy in this game...

Just shoot it a bunch. It has plenty of counter play. It’s not like you can shoot someone from inside of the BRDM. And it’s big and slow and loud.

I think an argument could be made for the AWM. for example, you have a level 3 helmet and never hear an awm, but suddenly you are one tapped in the head. BRDM though has no issues aside from silently rolling. It's a big vehicle that is easy to blow up/counter. main problem with the lynx though is that it one shots a level 2 vest. overall it's just way too strong

Its not like BRDM is immune to bullets If you shoot its health is reduced. Its slow,loud which makes it perfect prey to bullets and one cannot shoot from inside. Its well balanced

BRDM is also broken, especially in solos. So many time I was in final ~3 and only had like 60 rounds left and I could not destroy it, even if it was already low, because I would have used all by bullets and had nothing to fight with.

As much as I want to agree with ya chacotaco it’s not fair gameplay if you get something that is nearly indestructible and just makes the game not fun for everyone else. In battlefield 1 you can just run tanks all day but your not immune to everything like ap bullets, mines or bazookas. So it’s good that the devs actually want players to have a chance to stop someone in a armored vehicle.

The Lynx is fine. The problem is that everyone complains about guns and then they get nerf’d into uselessness. It makes perfect sense for a lynx to do all that because it’s the only gun in the game that can. You don’t always “need” a counter to stuff. I think the purpose a lynx serves fits how it performs perfect. Either give me 30+ bullets or make it world spawn ammo and then you can nerf it. Until then it should stay exactly how it is.

The Lynx is a .50 Caliber gun, it 1 shots a lot of things, it's kinda the purpose for high caliber weapons. As far as your "Game Balance" point of view, how about is it fair for someone to be using the BRDM as mobile cover with no way to really get rid of them. Takes too many bullets to destroy and you always run the risk of being third partied while attacking the BRDM. Your argument just isn't logical.
