I closed on my first house today. Something I did not think would happen for me for quite a long time, but it happened suddenly when things fell perfectly into place. I’ve always tried to life my best life and make good things happen for myself and others, and even through hardship, I always stay positive and thankful. When I finally received the keys I was on the verge of tears, overwhelmed with gratitude that this has finally happened and it’s real. I got in my car to leave the attorney’s office and this song was playing. When I heard the chorus, I straight up cried. Life really has been good to me!

“Life is Good” was my great grandmother’s lifelong mantra. I was born on her 70th birthday so her first name was given to me as my middle name: Glena. She always said that phrase, especially during hard times with a gentle smile on her face, even on her death bed. She lived to be 90 years old. This song is now my favorite song ever. It makes me want to dance and cry at the same time. “Well, life's been good to me, manifest destiny Life's been bad to me but it doesn't have to be You need both with the comedy and tragedy One smile, one frown, it's a masterpiece” I know my Grandma Glena would love this song. I sure miss her.
