Wow, what a comprehensive analysis, Philip! I loved every word you’ve said here about Dirty Loops and this cover. Great breakdown, thanks. You’ve opened my mind some more about these guys… First up, the original is so good in its own right, and yeah, something quite different to this ‘cover’. Dirty Loops have switched it up soooo much, staying true to the original in some ways but creating completely their own version of it in some other ways! This is so incredible and shocking and refreshing and….I have no words 🙏 You’ve said it all, Jonah’s freaking amazing singing and vocal layering, his tasty little keys interjections, Henrik’s funky as hell bass and super gorgeous, jazzy solo there, his PLONK at the end 🤣 and Aron’s fire solos during the bridge, as well as holding it all down so well 🔥🔥🔥 After recording they shot that video, had to relearn all of their licks and solos again for the camera (!) and then added all those fun moments, with Henrik’s feet doing some fast pedal work right at the start :) to the toilet roll wafting in the breeze of Aron’s $27 bass drum ;) Also check out the credits when you have a minute, they’re hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 Should you have the time also, go back to their first album Loopified and check out some of their covers from early on, such as Lady Gaga’s ‘Just Dance’, Britney Spears’ ‘Circus’, Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up’, or any of the other crazy and fire covers from back then, as well as their own originals (‘Sayonara Love’ slaying it!) Then there is: EVERYTHING else Dirty Loops have ever done!!! Cheers ☺️👍 Thanks again for an amazing reaction and breakdown of this epic Dirty Loops cover 🙏

You should react to Stevies original too - it is a great song. I completely agree Henrik is having a conversation with Jonah and Aron. His flageolet tones is to die for!
