I used to do Keyboard and instrument repair in Vegas years ago. They came in for a show and one of their Korg Tritons needed repair. We went back stage right before the show, got it working and then got to see the show. They are very cool guys to talk with and some of the most talented artists to come out of the last decade. Their live performance proved they weren't just another over produced studio boy band, these guys have serious talent and dedication.

I absolutely agree. I had the chance to see them live and meet them at a showcase in NYC. Nicest dudes ever and the show was INSANE. They did not fail to impress.

I was there! I live in Vegas and saw them on local TV and made a beeline down there. Fantastic!

Glad you reacted to my recommendation, great reaction as always! Try Jonah Nilsson's (Dirty Loops' vocalist and keyboardist) "Coffee Break" if you want; I think you'll like it. Cheers man!

Thanks for articulating, through your reactions, the acrobatically fun energy that Dirty Loops’ music stirs up in the listener! I just discovered “Coffee Break” by Jonah Nilsson & LUCAS. Duuuuuuuude. Michael Jackson’s ghost was flying through the mixing boards on that one. Please please react to that song. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I hear Lyle Mays in Jonah's solo. This song is redonkulous. Thank you for sharing your reaction, Brad!

So True! :) Noticed it the first time I heard it too.

I hear what you''re saying but this piano solo is way more Lyle Mays than Cory Henry - especially with the underlying berimbau ostinato.

I am a pianist, but there is a band that approached me like "please record bass parts for us because we know you love Henrik Linder, please apply his vibe for us" and I'm amazed but I feel respect for the obligation, if you know what I mean, of course I took it :)

Might I suggest something a bit retro but still amazing to this day? How about a little Steve Perry - one of THE best vocalists of all time. His breath control, tone, musicality, and pure emotion still keeps him at the top. You can do any of the popular ones such as "Faithfully," or "Lights," or even "Don't Stop Believin'," but I''d highly recommend their live version of "Wheel in the Sky" or even better, "Mother, Father." Somehow Steve's live performances are more impressive than his recorded ones. Here's the link to "Mother, Father." The end will blow you away: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3rWcpeFjal6d7c

I'm sure this isnt intentional but your shirt that says "Mamba Out" makes me think its some kind of sick reference to Kobe Bryant's death
