3:11 Respected Sir . During transaction T1 failure, the T1 rollbacks. How can we say that T2 read that value which actually doesn't exist in the database then ?? As According to me , T2 read value and committed , the value read by T2 should be stored in main database because T2 was committed .
The example about cheating was genius! Thanks for the clear explanation

sir , one question........... after T2 commit it simply update the DB. and value is now 6. now after certain time, T1 failed and rolled back.. means it deleted the value from local buffer. . which was previously 6. and back to initial stage that is 5.but does it mean T1 deleted the value 6 from DB also which was updated by T2 ??? because u said now 6 value is no longer in DB after rolled back............ plz expian sir...

Respected Sir, i have a doubt, the example used in dirty read problem the two transactions (t1 and t2) are not satisfying the isolation criterion so if a transaction is not satisfying ACID property , so there is no fault in concurrency but in the transaction itself.

Example is quite relatable 😂😂

any one please help!!! Why T2 is reading a value from T1 !! rather it could read from Database directly to get the fresh copy . correct me if I am wrong!
@roshantopno12537 жыл бұрын
T2 is not reading values from T1. They are both reading from a temporary memory which is a copy of original data. They are not directly accessing original data.
