It’s true that when we come in business during the week, SF area is very (ridiculously) expensive. But for Friday-Sunday stays you can actually score greet deals in Bay Area.

I would choose Motel 6 (Cheaper ) if I had to pay for the room,over Mark Hopkins only if someone else was paying for the room..(Expensive),

We want to venture to San Fran so bad! We are scared though because some say the crime is so bad!!

We know and hear the same, but fortunately if you park with the hotel and don’t leave your bags/backpacks in the car, it should be fine. Luckily, we didn’t have any issues parking our car on the street or covered parking spaces. Lots of homeless people on the streets, bit that’s been forever in SF and LA as well…:(
