hi nice video. Why i dont have in my substance painter the custome graph? i have substance painter 2018.

Thanks. This isn't Substance Painter. This is Substance Designer.

This is awesome. But can you make a slower timelapse in the future, I have to set speed to 0.25 to really enjoy.

Guillaume Larouche thanks. i will try that next time. also there is a inmprovised flow video on my channel about this material.

Hi Cem, great work man, a bit curious about the subsurfacescattering too, it's juste a rendering parameter right ? And also, how long did the real thing took you ?
@cemtezcan7 жыл бұрын
Hi Lucas. Thanks. You're right. SSS is a material parameter mostly used on lighttrace type render engines. It is replicated on realtime render engines recently. i.e. blog.sketchfab.com/sketchfab-now-supports-subsurface-scattering-translucency/ This material took almost 1.5 day to tweak and render. I also used this on my coffee scene: www.artstation.com/artwork/zrQY2
@lucasNinard7 жыл бұрын
Cem TEZCAN thanks for the quick replay man, 1.5 Day ! That's huge, when did you started using SD ?
@lucasNinard7 жыл бұрын
Cem TEZCAN And also a took a pick at your coffee scene, amazing job but the metal seems a bit of, lacking dust maybe ? And going on with constructive criticism, the fabric has a strange shape. But overall amazing renders
@cemtezcan7 жыл бұрын
Don't consider 1.5 day as non-stop 36 hours of working my friend. It is almost 3-4 hours top working time. Thanks for the critics. I'm trying to stand clear from dust on food-like product presentations. Thanks a lot.

@cemtezcan7 жыл бұрын
It is sad to know that. You may find the texture application here: www.artstation.com/artwork/NV4zD
@Shiva4D7 жыл бұрын
Sorry man, but its true. You are very professional in substance. But on reference you have "circle packing algorithm" patern and its most important part of realism.
@ges42067 жыл бұрын
It's far from the reference because its only a normal map and albedo and roughness. In real life, many other factors come into play like transparency and subsurface scattering. This makes the bubbles in SD look hard and solid.
@Shiva4D7 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I`m not agree. Shader its OK. But bubbles overlaping each other and its looks not realistic. Here is how its must looks like - thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumb_152/1528512.jpg But its not easy to replicate in substance.
@cemtezcan7 жыл бұрын
@Ges SSS on water material is new to me. Rainbow effect of clear coating like detergents can be applied but I don't think transparency and SSS can alter this shading's realism level. Below images are transparent applications of the same textures by the way.
