Unfortunately if you find someone else has been there before you, they are sometimes a bodge up artist and make it twice as hard, a good mechanic would make it easier the second time around, unfortunately usually twice a nightmare.......I think we missed 5 minutes of swearing at the start of this video, following on from the previous....It's really interesting seeing inside this engine Matt

Which year is this engine from? Some of them have a different kind of flywheel, that has a priblem with loosing its magnets. This one looks like that magnets are inside of the metalic cover. I dont know if my kle 500 from 2005 has the problematic one or this "improved" one like in the video.

The flywheel looks like the ones that wont fall apart, this is the type they should have fitted. All the Kle500s are effected.

The magneto is the same as Kawasaki KLE 500???

Yes. Well I'm almost certain without having one in my hand. The engines are the same - the only difference that I know of is the emissions bullshit.
