We recently sat down with Eldorado Red for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about growing up in the Ridgecrest neighborhood of Montgomery, jumping off the porch when he was 12, starting off selling crack, streets being watered down now, social media’s impact on the streets, courts using lyrics against rappers, explains where his love for music comes from, Alabama rap not being mainstream when he first started, moving to Atlanta, connecting with Shawty Lo, Gucci Mane & OJ Da Juiceman, his close relationship with Lo, reveals how he linked with Doe B, how Doe’s death affected the music scene in Montgomery, the ‘Return Of The Mob’ mixtape with Alley Boy, explains how he locked in with Yo Gotti, working on ‘McRado’s 2’ while in Miami, getting arrested right before he signed his deal with CMG, getting sentenced to 25 years in prison, spending 4 years locked up before he had the charge overturned, feeling like he got a second chance at life, the biggest lesson he learned by going through that situation, his new tape ‘King Of Ridgecrest’, and much more!
