Love listening to Dale and Amy. You two are truly blessed with a beautiful family. Always been a Dale Jr race fan but I can’t say I was always a Dale Sr fan. Tons of respect for him as a racer but listening to Dale speak of the need and desire of attention he wanted and truly needed from his Dad is heart breaking 💔 wish u nothing but the best in life.

I'm still so thankful I had the chance to look you in the eye and tell you how much you've helped me with grieving my own dad's passing. I meant it when I said that watching you over the years has set a model for how I deal with my own grief. When I told you, your response was "take care of yourself." I've been trying! Much love, bro and co.!

LOL. It took me three hours, at the optometrist’s, to learn to take my contacts in and out that first day! I was there til they closed! I was too frustrated to be embarrassed.🤦🏻♀️ LOL. I loved wearing contacts for 20 years, and hated I had to quit wearing them after eye muscles changed and made it impossible. Agree, it sounds like they need to recheck the prescription Dale. That happened to me once as well. Always enjoy you being on the show Amy!❤️

I've been wearing contacts for 40 years. At first, I felt self-conscious. There's something about glasses that make you feel more secure. Almost like it's a protector or wall you can hide behind. As far as comfort, after a few days, you'll be amazed at how natural it feels. Good luck. By the way, I have a uniform Dale Sr. Jacket that was signed by yourself, Kelly, Kerry and your dad. If you would like to have it for the shop, let me know. I also have some old race programs and hot rod magazines that my dad collected over the years. I have the second annual Daytona race on the beach. My dad was friends with a lot of the drivers back in the day.

I got my 1st pair of contacts at 12yrs old. It took a good 3 weeks for me to get used to them. Now at 57 I have no problem with them. Dale Jr. Must have the absolute wrong prescription if he can not see far enough in the distance. It takes alot of practice to be able to hold your eye open n be able to touch your eyeballs. The more you wear them ,the progression of your vision getting worse stops. With contact I see my eye doctor every year. Also rewetting drops are a must. And sunglasses. If you are tired and have tired eyes contacts are harder to put into your eyes. I also have slept in my contacts that are made to be able to do that. And use new contacts weekly. My eyes haven't changed since I've worn them. 44yrs. Almost 45yrs.

I had trouble with contacts too. It helped me to look to the left or right and place the contact on the side of my eye, close my eye and then gently move it over the center of my eye with my index finger on the outside of my eye lid
@bobbolieu901323 күн бұрын
I have a separate prescription for each eye. I am far sighted in one eye, and near sighted in the other. There were days that I just wore the lens for my far sighted eye. Maybe you could try that type of situation and see if it helps. There are times that I have to close one eye to help the other focus better. Plus, remember that we have muscles that do most of the focus work for us. I do focusing exercises to help keep my eyes focusing easier. I vary the distance that I look at items.

Love listening to you two interact and perspectives. (Just do some research on Taylor Swift, her music, and her shows. There is a lot spiritually not in a good way attached to her that you are opening the doors and windows letting it in your own selves and any of the rest of us if we ingest it.)

Look a little upwards, put the lense in a bit toward the bottom of your eye, once the lense is in look down "into" into it, the lense will center itself - - don't try to put them straight in, your eye "sees" your finger coming toward it, there's no need to fight through that in even though the techs will try to get you to do it that way. You will become less sensitive to putting them in over time, even straight in - but new wearers can benefit from not putting them straight in when they're first getting used to them.

Dale, if you still have double vision and prism in your glasses the contacts won't help that. When you get the exam, you're tested at 20 feet. Hence the 20/20 thing.
