In November 2024, AbilityNet hosted its eighth TechShare Pro, Europe's leading technology conference focused on digital accessibility and inclusivity.
Held at HSBC in Canary Wharf, London, the event spanned two incredible days filled with insights and learning about accessibility, disability inclusion, and much more.
The conference began with a warm welcome from Amy Low, Chief Executive Director at AbilityNet, and Mali Fernando, Group Head of Digital Experience and Accessibility at HSBC. They set the stage for two days of impactful discussions on accessibility and inclusion by introducing key themes.
The first panel, "Disability and Brand Advantage," featured senior leaders from various brands and agencies. They discussed the business case for accessibility, emphasising how inclusive practices drive innovation, enhance brand reputation, and tap into new markets.
Speakers included:
Jonathan Castleman, HSBC
Mark Walker, AbilityNet
Hamish Goulding, HSBC
Sam Weller, AMV BBDO
Danny Josephs, MFuse
Katy Talikowska, Valuable 500
The event was a remarkable opportunity to share knowledge and foster a more inclusive digital world.
