Disappointing Delivery: Unboxing a Damaged Canyon Cycle Package
Today marked the much-anticipated arrival of my Canyon Cycles package, but what should have been a moment of excitement quickly soured into disappointment and frustration. As I eagerly tore away the outer layers of packaging, it became immediately apparent that something was amiss. The box itself bore the scars of rough handling, with dents, tears, and creases marring its once pristine surface.
Upon opening the box, any hope of a smooth unboxing experience evaporated. Instead of finding my new bike securely nestled within protective packaging, I was greeted by a scene of chaos. The contents were haphazardly arranged, with parts jumbled together in a disorganized mess. Worse still, the packaging materials that should have shielded the bike from harm were in a sorry state, torn and crumpled beyond recognition.
What baffled me the most was the absence of any locks or straps to secure the contents. It seemed as though the box had been pre-opened, leaving its precious cargo vulnerable to the perils of transit. How such a fundamental oversight could occur is beyond comprehension.
In the end, what should have been a joyous occasion turned into a sobering reminder of the importance of proper packaging and handling. As I assess the extent of the damage and contemplate the next steps, one thing is clear: my experience with Canyon Cycles today has left me deeply disillusioned and questioning the quality of their service.

It is shiping damage, can't blame Canyon for that. Mine came in perfect package.

Luck you 😀 but you should have seen the way it was damaged inside. The bike was damaged before it was in the box, and maybe you don't understand. Canyon Bicycles is fully responsible for errors, including shipping, not the customer 😀 have fun on your new steed, I will wait for the full range of new lite ebikes coming out soon, I would like a sub 17kg for me 😀 laters

This does seem like shipping damage, as if ups unboxed it and took it for a ride :D Now, how do you mean, you need to accept the delivery? What if you theoretically never opened the door for ups? What would they do in that case?

I have done that before, but can you tell if the delivery is OK when it's on the back of a van 🤔 ? It has been confirmed that this is Canyon Bicycles packaging 📦 petty S... 😊

So. I bought a Strive a month ago. UPS dragged it 75m down the lane and because no one was in........... LEFT IT IN THE GARDEN.............. IN THE RAIN. My box was almost as bad as yours. That's UPS but Canyon must know but now they are shite. Fortunately the bike was okay but the whole process needs sorting. I would never use UPS. Laters.

I totally agree with you 👍 I was thinking about having another go, but my head is saying no, so basely, I an having a 2nd go with Whyte e-lyte 140 works which turned out to be the same from Wheelbase, 3rd time lucky 😀 it lands tomorrow at a local bike shop 😀 laters Steve

Man,. youve got some serious patience not to look what's in the box. Why not check to see if it's acceptable and negotiate a discount?

Well, to be honest, I just want to have a new one, so just after doing the video, they are looking to the problem with why this has happened, I made it clear to pick it up and replace it, from the inside of the box you can see the ebike, but it hard to see if it is damaged, I think it's ok but I think there are things missing in the box a the bottom, top is fine 🙂 from what I can see, I just don't understand why it me all the time 😉 the price is still higher at £7,300, but full price £9,300 with bigger battery so still a good saving if I get a good one 🥳 👍

@@AutoGleamTruths hope it goes well for you. I got bored of swapping the short lance between my 2 Worx Hydroshots, so got another one from Amazon. I was a bit nervous as I didn't fancy receiving a hammer or a pair of used panties (or whatever they sent you. Sorry can't remember) anyway, 2 weeks later and the short lance arrived. Maybe there's a bunch of leprechauns working in your local depots?

To be honest, it's very much both Canyon Bicycles and UPS. I am a business owner. I would never send goods out like this, especially not securing the contents inside the box, which the front wheel has damaged the rear swinging arm, and the thing's I ordered just loose inside 😐 😳 and the story goes on 😀 laters
