0:57 The battery tray has two tabs on the left and right that you can put a plastic shim in and then it slides out. Then battery is glued into the tray but can be pushed out with a flat dull plastic shim from the back side of the tray. Battery is 1.2v 1200mAH. Basically a AA NiMH battery.

Had to grind the front and rear of the battery seat with a dremol but I was able to replace the battery by soldering in a AA NiMH. It charges too! Success! Whole thing snapped back together in about 10 seconds.

​@@lauracividino4813 Yes, I'd suggest Eneloop Rechargable AA NiMH battery. You will also need some soldering tools and skills to attach the wires to the battery. Be careful not to burn the battery with the soldering iron.

@@NexaYa I had to grind down the front and back of the battery tray with a dremol to fit in a NiMH rechargeable AA and I soldered wires to the + and - of the AA and put it in and then soldered the wires to the terminals. Couldn't get a regular AA battery holder to fit. It charges!
