They are also able to be recharged by the end user on site if needed. Simply change out the CO2 cartridge and refill with appropriate dry chemical. They come in various sizes but id recommend a 20lb model for the heavy equipment!

10:29 keep in mind, that you need to rotate those every once in a while, because if you don't, the powder inside will clump and it's then useless. Get yourself burst type ampules. Those don't require any maintenance (other than seeing if they're cracked or not) and they are also very effective. Have three situated around a machine and that's enough in case a fire starts to deny the fire oxygen. You can also have like a throw type one in the cabin, when sh!t hits the fan, you get out, grab it, throw it and it instantly kills the fire. I've seen those used on oil fire and it goes from raging inferno to nothing in an instant. Again, zero maintenance . The only caveat they have is an expiration date, because the chemical inside does eventually go bad. 12:45 sidenote: impressive that even tho it was in a fire, and therefore the structural integrity of the metal is lesser, it took all that work to collapse the thing. That's a good cab design. I feel safer in my own cabin now.

Yeah, I thought it might get stuck on the tailgate.

That scrap weighed more then your truck. Thanks for sharing that ticket with us, you cured my curiosity. After dumping that counter weight, that yard worker was looking at it, like, what and how am I going to do something with this.

them counterweights are always fun in the yard... either have to spend hours torching them or keep them for randim shenanigans. we like to give the task to the new guys let em prove their worth 😂😂

As I sat here watching Andrew bash apart his burnt excavator, I was wonder WHY am I watching Andrew bash apart an excavator? Answer - why wouldn't I watch Andrew bash apart his excavator? And, watch Dad and his excavator skills! Such great therapy!

For batteries. NEGITIVE LAST ON , FIRST OFF. Thus does not allow for conduction . BEST TO FIND USE A NON NEAR BATTERY GROUND. KEEP THE SPARK AWAY FROM THE HYDROGEN OF THE BATTERY. ONE DOES NOT WANT AN OTHER Hindenburg. . MEASURE THE VOLTAGE BETWEEN THE TERMINAL AND POST. This checks what resistance between them. I have seen large voltage between them.

The undercarriage could be disassembled and put in a sea can then you can scrap the rest of it. Personally I would have pulled the cylinders. Those are probably 5 grand a piece in good condition. Bent and they are not.
@jameszeschke21824 ай бұрын
Yeah those lift cylinders are worth a fortune, now the chrome rods are marked and no doubt bent, not worth anything, I’ve repaired many of these .Andrew should have taken them off first, only a pin to pull out, too bad.

Couldn't he have sold parts of the arm like the cylinders .
@BisonRiverRanch4 ай бұрын
@@seancasey2444 yes, that’s the plan but now the cylinders are bent. Chrome scratched.

The best channel out the there, period. The time lapse @ 7:25- and transition, great photography and skill. Always getting things done, not much commentary, and you know what the hell your doing. So entertaining to watch, its addicting.
