Despite this being far from ideal, others can at least take careful note of where screws are located. I like this kind of thing as it allows me to carefully drill a very small hole in the rubber pads to remove the screws without completely destroying the adhesive, thereby exposing the screw while leaving the pad in place. This method is also particularly helpful on some mice, because once you destroy the adhesive on the teflon feet the device can become unusable... and you can use videos or images like this to carefully locate the screws without needing to jerry a poor replacement slider or pad afterwards.

If you destroy the adhesive you can get the same kind of ultra thin clear double sided tape from a craft store like joanna fabrics or Michael's. Itll be called "No sew fabric adhesive tape" or something like that. Its identical

Just spilled cup of coffee on my G512. This video helped to find those screws under rubber feet. I never use or recommend electric drill with fine mechanics. It will destroy plastic at tightening phase if not earlier. Buy a good screw driver, it is safe and faster.

you mean the switches? yes it s possible but you need to desolder/ solder the switches

If you mean the switches, you’ll have to desolder them. Keycaps are as simple as pulling them off and putting on new ones but it depends on which model of this board you have. It’s nearly impossible to find replacement keycaps for Logitech’s own Romer-G switches, but if you have one of these with the Cherry MX clones (cross shaped stem) you can use most keycaps made for Cherry switches. Even then, there is the caveat of a non-standard bottom row so most keycap sets’ space bar and a few others won’t fit exactly.

Poor camera position. Would have been nice to see where the lower screws were located. And a little editing for time would have been nice. Did not need to remove all of the keys. Took a picture of the keyboard before removing keys. Not all keyboards are layed out the same and have the same functions.

It depends on which variant you own (and whether it’s linear/silent, tactile, or clicky) but all of them use either proprietary Romer-G switches by Logitech themselves or Cherry MX clones

I couldn't tell from this video if there are a screw behing EVERY pad on the bottom of the keyboard, or just the corner pads, or just the top corner pads. Jesus why bother recording it if you will do it off-camera?

Not if you use a small ratcheting hand screw driver, heat gun to remove rubber feet and center label so you dont have to cutt it up, and patience. Just look at the spots for the screws, this kid started prying on it way too early, that's why you saw him go back to it and remove screws under the keycaps. If you like I can make a proper video on how to do so
