How do you know if it failing where should I hear air leak on this?? Is air leak internal?? Do I need to calibrate it after changing ??

Hello, thanks for the information and for got AT2612D with fault: mid 130 psid 232 fmi 9 I checked all can wires were ok, then customer brought another used trans to replace it, I am checking it on bench out the truck with special harness and still I am getting same fault on the 2nd transmission. Please help is appreciated

you dont need to pull the trans to replace it, its outside on passenger side. calibrating is a good idea but not mandatory

yes it can but there release cylinder and hose can cause it.

Do you usually get a cod for this part if dose goes out ? My 2015 vnl drives good forward , but got a crazy jerking when going revers loaded and slightly hill. Can t go reverse at this point.No codes detected.

@@volvobigtrucks8640 no , it makes this problem only in revers ,(but sometime in in 1st rpm gose to hi -close to red , before going in next gear ). Some online topics with same reverse jerking have told that the diagnostic from repair shop came as bad clutch /pressure plate clutch.. but never came back to let us know if it fixed the problem. Is it posible to be the only issue at 610xxxx miles?

@@tinashemutuma315 yes . But it wasn t this part . All the clutch assembly had to be replaced , visually it was easy to tell is time for new one. The shop put it back , problem was still present. Had to be dragged down again and send it for complete rebuild.. had some gears and bearings replaced inside. After rebuild start working fine again . Cost me 12000 for all that ,rebuild plus shop.
