shame about the bad packaging ,i have been told that i have used to much packaging a couple of times ,but i want items to arive unbroken and not have to deal with returns of broken items .

I have a boombox on the way tomorrow and I just checked the tracking at says Evri Hermes will be delivering it, I don’t think I’ve ever had a boombox delivered in one piece by them

It depends how well they are packaged. I've had stuff arrived broken by many couriers, but it ultimately depends on how over-protected they are. I sent a £250 8 track player with Hermes this week and the buyer said my packaging was a 'work of art'. But TBH it shouldn't really have to be - in the modern age of online shopping, delivery isn't the luxury service it once was, and fragile/vintage/rare items barely stand a chance.
