When putting base cabinets in the garage place them on top of pressure treated 2x4 on top of the concrete. It will give you a taller workbench and will keep the cabinet off the concrete if the garage will ever get water in it.

These cabinets have a strip of plastic on the bottom edges, and with the concrete sloped properly, water isn’t a concern

We get snow and slush in the winter which will be higher than a plastic strip.

It was a little flimsier than I expected. I had to add a 2x2 piece of wood to the bottom on the rear side in order to stabilize it better kzbin.infoUgkxXTh-lz-8W6GcB219vTLp27-MxbZYObBX . It is also starting to bow a little at the outer wall ( I've had it up for about 6 months), I've already had a shelf tumble down because of the bow and the fact that the little shelf brackets are quite short. I went out to home depot and got some longer ones so that the shelves don't tumble down again. Overall, it looks very nice for the price and it holds a lot ( I use it as a pantry). I am very satisfied with my purchase. I just strongly suggest reinforcing it before putting it up.

Nice job for working with timber in garage. Missing a vice for timber work though. If you’re going to work with metal then suggest lining the benchtop with galvanised steel sheet and a separate metal vice
