Like the video! Maybe tell us something about camshaft selection, the difference between cast, forged and billet camshafts, which lifters to use with them and how to run your newly build engine in one of your cars.

Thanks for this, Mike. In the spring, I'll be putting a dual master cylinder on my 65 as the old single is leaking.

That alone will increase the hydraulic leverage. you will notice a difference. then when the money is there......get the disc kit.

@Mikefngarage thanks for this extra comment. I can imagine the amount of work it takes to video, do the work, edit, and respond to comments. Your videos are a great help to me.

Great video! Had a Veep kit car with drums back in the 80's. They pulled the super light front end bad on hard stops. I have another Veep now with disc brakes and there is no comparison. Super even, smooth stops.

Very good information. I see a couple of more advantages to disc over drum. As a guy that grew up on drum brakes there was always the chance of brakes pulling left or right on hard braking. I know it could be from lack of adjustments but could be from other issues. With disc has a lower chance of pulling on hard braking. Also there is lower maintenance with the disc and a more simple system. Also the disc brake tech started in the aircraft industry then the racing world started to pick it up before the auto industry. The aircraft world found that disc preformed better than drums in stopping the large aircraft and all the weight. Yes the aircraft world also use flap and speed brakes on the wings to help and some jet aircraft use thrust diverters to help. But it is the disc brake that has performed the best.
