Disc Weaving: making a tubular filled cord

This video shows how to weave a tubular filled cord using a disc. The warp is in a circular pattern so twist can be added to the cord.
The video demonstrates how to start weaving; how to find the point of weaving and how to weave.
The thickness of the core threads alters the feel and flexibility of the cord.

Sorry for the delay in replying. You can make your own disc out of cardboard. I found that the square shape is good but the holes need to be arranged in a circle in the square. I found a charity nearby who made some wooden discs for me but they do not make them to order - sorry. Enjoy experimenting with this technique. Susan
