When I was 7, I lost my mom to alcohol abuse. Plus, my father never showed duo to my birth. And 1 year ago I lived with my grandparents, but my grandpa was abusive to me and my grandma. So we left him and that made me homeless for 1 month. But now I live in a apartment. I am aloud to see my grandpa once again, but now I struggle with the problems of cutting. Last Friday night just was saved and I accepted Jesus christ into my heart. Life is getting better through friends, family and with the help of songs like these. I hear people say they were saved by grace but they still struggle with sin. The Bible says sin has no more control over us when we are born again, we are a new creation. Sin can’t enslave us or manipulate us anymore. So this song is written to our past, dear pain, dear shame, dear hate and dear anger. I love how this song really touches me in the heart cause I'm still struggling with things that I can't control on my own but God is the only one who sees me as I really am to him and everything he sees I want to be for him. This song reminds me that my past heartbreak, the hate, the anger, the pain and the shame. It doesn't own me. It shouldn't own you. Of course we all relapse back to this. I'd go see one of my favorite groups like this one, but there's money, which I might be able to get for it, then there's travel, and finally my ears pick up all sounds, so such powerful speakers, people shouting, oh my... I'd have an ear attack. I use ear plugs and meds to sleep. but often hear through the plugs and forget they are in while talking in person. I'll just think "something about the voice is different..." until I realize I have them in, and then I carefully, slowly remove them because the change in sound is incredible. Like from a muted TV to unmuted at 95. So, while I love dogs and cats, they have to be trained not to make ots of noise. Cats tend to be fine, but so many people get a dog, stick it in their yard, and don't train it at all, so constant barking. That literally sent me to the hospital after being unable to sleep for weeks led to severe problems like severe anemia (I had less than 50% of my blood platelets and was even more white than I normally am). Sleep is needed to regenerate cells right, so my stomach wasn't healing correctly, and thus I began slowly having ulcers open up without stopping at all. I began bleesing for months until they did something about it, but I couldn't sleep in the hospital either. Gah. We're moving out to a woody area soon, away from the city, traffic, kids shouting like they are being killed next door (I'd give my life to save kids, but man, who knows if they are in danger if they are always yelling as loud as they physically can. One of them is even 8 years old and does it... EIGHT! I stopped yelling by 2-3.) I pray to Jesus Christ no one ever hurts them, because I wouldn't be able to tell. I also can't see outside due to my eyes being unable to handle sunlight, so I use sounds to locate where things are, and have been able to use echolocation before. So if you have bad ears, just remember that. Everyone seems to want what the other has, and doesn't want the things they do have. So I say, even for myself, be happy for what you have and for what you don't have. Grass is always greener and stuff, right? Oh, before you say "call the police" on them, since the adults do it too, well, my household has done that. It stops them for a day. Doesn't matter how many times it has been. I've even gone over there and asked in the kindest way, and I get "CALL THE POLICE THEN!" shouted at me. I just aked "My parents and I sleep during the day, and can't sleep almost at all. I just wanted to ask if you would lower the volume just by a small amount? Not a lot." Wow, right? Not to mention, through I didn't say this, we own our house, they rent theirs, so when they shouted "MY HOUSE I DO WHAT I WANT" at me, they aren't really right. Besides, you can't just do anything you want in your yard anyway. It's gonna be nice to move. Thank Jesus they got rid of the three dogs that just set each other off all the time. I was raised from as far back as I can recall, don't irritate people, not your neighbors or people sitting near you in public. Yet in this world, you see the opposite of that. People LOVE to smash that horn in the car. I'd never use it if I could drive, unless it was for an emergency. So in that case, I'd have a crazy strong horn in. I've even in the past been directly hit on foot by a speeding car, which stopped just long enough to see if my body would move, then took off. Of course most of the other people, even the ones that knew I was hit, were honking their horns at me. What has happened to people? I injured my neck in that accident, but I wouldn't want to sue, and since I can't see further than a few inches without glasses, and still cannot read license plates with glasses on, there's no way I'd have seen it, nor remembered it. When you receive that kind of shock, you tend to you know, fail to recall something all strange with upper and lower case characters, numbers, and such like a plate. If everyone had my sight, you could just slam into any pedestrian and slowly drive off without speeding at all. This all makes me want to just... just... punch a bubble! *bubble dies* Ha!

I remember being a private school church kid hearing this on my moms christian radio in the car at age 12 and thinking christian music was so lame. I was just ready to be 18 and never go to church again and live like the "normal kids". Im 20 now and ive been on drugs and watching xxx daily for years now. Theres nothing normal about vices and addictions, its all fakeness and borderline demon possession. I didnt appreciate this then and thought it was stupid but now i see that trusting GOD is the only way to honestly make it in this world. Im trying to be sober now im approaching a week clean.
