Emerging from Los Angeles as the duo whose aggressive music aims to be part of a destiny, Faytal’s clean sound design and soul-snatching vocals transport listeners into a filthy hype. Forming a project inspired by a pure passion for intense sounds with an alien-like twist, Faytal’s vision takes a different approach to modern bass music. Cory Glover and Safiya Reyhan’s passion for music started by laying loops on their dad’s computer just for fun. Pen tapping and beat making led them from hip hop to future bass to what now is their unique dubstep sub genre today. Faytal has been supported by artists like Svdden Death, Point.Blank, HE$H, Hami, Calcium and more, and continues to release music that is well-received by the dubstep community. With multiple tracks on labels such as Bassweight Records and Buygore, the duo is also loved in Montreal and has played several shows for international crowds who consistently welcome them to the Canadian Bass Capitol. Currently pushing for a new sound, one that is completely opposite of previous releases, the duo’s passion lies in the intensity of bass music without the anger, death and negativity. Their future plans include a debut EP, killer collaborations and more interaction with fans, both inside and out of the music industry.
