Wow, well it took a while, but I finally found an Automhate track I like. Before I could not hear this 'clean'ness to their sound design everyone seemed to praise about them, and the sound design for their tracks - while definitely competent - felt really uninspiring and generic. So seeing that they were getting a track in this melodic compilation, at first you can imagine I wasn't very excited. Automhate did not seem like the kind of producer who could do melodic dubstep or colour bass well to me, but it looks like in actuality, maybe that's what they were missing. Aside from the drop feeling a little repetitive and empty, this stood out more than I expected, and obviously sounds great. This track I can agree the sound design is very clean in, although I still don't really hear what people mean when they say that about their other tracks. The intro especially struck me as having a really cool and unique vibe to it.
