Hsiao Hou is my all time favorite MA actor, but he's also an accomplished martial artist too. When he began training with Lau Kar Leung, he was proficient in Monkey Boxing. He was able to anything that Yuen Biao could. Add Lau Kar Leung to the mix and you have a Dynamo in Hsiao Hou.

@Koryuhoka Well said. Hsiao Hou is awesome. Out of every MA actor he is my favorite too. Hands down, he couldn't be touched with the stunts, the acrobats, or the martial arts. his moves were just clean. Check out his most recent interview on my youtube channel, it was from 2004, he can still flip. People compare him to Yuen Biao, I think Yuen Biao is simply outclassed by Hsiao Hou.

Based upon the comments of Yuen Baio kung fu and acrobatic skills, I just finished watching his style and he's good, very good but he cannot beat Hsiao Hou at any time!!!!!!!!

They both aged. They are like in there 40s, 50s. Those were the good times. Now people are getting lazier and I think it will go back up. WAY back then Kung Fu Masters rose because they don't have much to do. Don't you think?

yuen Biao is more acrobatic because yuen biao does acrobatic kicks as well as the standard operatic flips they were taught. So yuen biao can do all what Hsia hsou can do but hsia hsou cannot do all what yuen biao can do. Tht]at's whta gave yuen Biao the title as the most acrobatic matial art star of movies between the 70s and early 80's. Now there are better flippers though i guess because time has gone on.

@cfG21 He does top Yuen Biao! I have some awesome clips uploaded via my profile since my youtube channel is dedicated to Hsiao Hou. Yuen Biao played in more movies, a bunch of crappy movies (some of them) so he was more exposed. While Hsiao Hou had around 5 leading roles in his movies, roughly the same as supporting lead, as an actor. This was the most badass dude in the 70s, even the king of kung fu (Lau Kar Leung) said he was the best of his class as his kung fu student and protege.
