One must be rewarded in the present... outstanding. When one sees life flowing in front of their very own eyes, in awe, in admiration for this miracle one's living... that's indeed when one finds true "enlightenment". Right here. Right now. Thank you so much for sharing these 😊

The title of this should be, “If the reward is not immediate, then the action is not worth it”

"And perhaps this freedom did not come from the PRACTICE of discipline. But from the discipline itself. If I may put it simply, it would be as if someone was about to wash the dishes and as he stood before the sink he had the GENUINE feeling that he simply couldn’t wait to EXPERIENCE THE DISCIPLINED WAY OF WASHING. Not washing “mindfully” as a practice/penance for a future reward of enlightenment. But Enlightenment right here, right now! The disciplined way of doing something IS ITSELF THE ENLIGHTENMENT. No waiting necessary." Having experienced this a little... I'm compelled to explore this. May be a true key, if it can be sustained. I find myself asking this question, "Is it possible to level up so much that one spends every minute of every day in devotion?" "They are an intriguing people. From the moment they awake, they devote themselves to the perfection of whatever they pursue. I have never seen such discipline." - Nathan Algren, "The Last Samurai"

"It is not that he is wasting his life because the reward won't come. It is that he's paid with his life for a tomorrow which was not worth the price." (…sacrificing the present all along the process.)

Hey Kapil, I get your message loud and clear, but it's not something for the masses. Maybe in a few generations, mankind would reach the stage where they can appreciate it, you are too ahead of your time I'm afraid. Wonder what could be done in the meantime. Give some thought to it, it's an arduous task to descend to the level of the masses and distill your message so that they can understand it, the problem being further complicated by the language barrier they face. It's the same reason why most people fail to appreciate the Feynman lectures in all its glory. I hope you are aware of the fact that the way that the masses use language is so polluted with obfuscation and innuendo, that they are unable to hear what you are trying to say, especially since it's couched in delightful but intricate phrases and sentences. I have faced the same problem as well, people often denigrate me for being far too sophisticated for my own good. And I believe you suffer from the same problem as well. I believe you realize that it's not good enough to become comprehensible in a few generations, the masses are crying out for some succor right now and I hope you would appreciate it. So please see if you can do the needful. Thank you and God bless you.
