@@boot5672 Create a goal of what you desire and create a list of 3 things that you fear from biggest to smallest that’s holding you back. Then volunteer yourself in changing what you fear the least to the most to bring you closer to what you desire the most which is the goal. Hope this helps✊🏽

Creating a workout routine, and designing eating habits, is about creating ritual in my life. I’m in week 3 of a new lifestyle change and I’m still getting over feeling stressed over not having the right food, or missing a workout because life got in the way, but I am starting to crave my routine, and the stability I feel around it. It feels good to wake up with a goal every day, some days I want to scream from exhaustion but on days I don’t have that structure, I feel lost.

I like the concept of desire, especially desiring what's righteous. While I may desire the success of this world, one thing I desire most is to be successful within. And let that be the light that shines from within to the world. From my inner spiritual to everything around me that I do & touch. Alchemy of sort. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

For context i am almost 21, I was recently amputated above the knee on my right side (04/08/21) due to injuries I sustained in a high speed motorcycle accident (06/13/20). Prior I had a career in hard labor, and it’s all I’ve ever known; working hard, sweating, being dirty and muddy after a long day on a job site, earning every single cent of my pay and putting all of my rage and emotional pain into it and it rewarded me for that. I was just starting to become happy with myself, happy with my situation, my lifestyle. Now since I no longer have that outlet I have so much rage and anger, so much pain and sadness that I’ve buried away until a time when I feel as though I am mentally prepared for processing and accepting the entirety of the situation because right now everything that’s left of me is new, and I can’t look in the mirror at myself without breaking down and asking myself how much do I really want to continue living like this....I find myself aggravated and annoyed with everyone I interact with and it is out of my control. I no longer have a handle on my rage and aggression. I suffer from bouts of PTSD, night terrors, flashbacks, and crippling nerve pain at which the extent of it leaves me screaming in pain and unable to move, and I can do nothing to stop it. That which doesn’t make me scream I suffer through silently because I don’t want to worry or hurt my mother anymore than I already have (she is a 10 year RN and gave me the skin prep bath for my 11 hour emergency surgery, and to the core of my soul I resent her having to see her oldest son as he bled out internally and bathe him). I had my first true bit of happiness ripped from me by an old woman using a cell phone while driving, who was so wrapped up in her own vehicles damage that after she hit me she got out and began taking pictures of her vehicle. She never even apologized for pulling out in front of me and stopping... I hit her at 70mph+/-. All of this after being so depressed and angry with the world for almost the entirety of my teenage years. I struggle to desire anything, especially to live. My father and I haven’t been on the best of terms since I was 16, and he wasn’t around much during my preteens and early teenage years. I’ve had to figure everything out alone, from helping my mother raise my two younger brothers when she worked nights, to how to do an oil change on my own. And this, I can’t figure this out on my own and I don’t know what to do.... I’m so lost. Is there anything at all that you could suggest? I feel like All I have now is my mind and even then it turns against me and hurts me. I feel inadequate as a man for being physically incapable of providing, I feel inadequate as a son for not being able to do things for my mother, and I feel inadequate as a human being for being so angry and violent towards society... Thank you for your time.

Hey man, I know it's an old comment but I'd like to reply to this anyway. You had a hard past and it's admirable you got this far without completely losing yourself to bitterness, resentment, etc. I really respect that. I can only speak from my own experience. "True strength is letting go." I never really understood this quote until quite recently. I started letting go of myself and accept the negative emotions that I had built up in me instead of fighting it. It didn't make me feel less depressed, but it made me calmer and peaceful at a deeper level. Dare I say there was a beautiful side to my depression and anxiety that I never got in touch with. I'm not going to lie when I say I can understand how you feel, but I can empathize when you say "I'm so lost". That's the exact words I felt. They say "Being lost is how you find yourself". I'm still lost, but I'm discovering parts of myself that I never knew existed, never would have dreamed of. It's truly a hidden blessing. I'm positive you can overcome your past and live the way you wish. Simply writing your past was an impressive step forward I think. Good luck.

hello brother, you have been through a lot. all that I read in your comments just somehow makes me feel ashamed to say I have depression too. I have never lost a limb but I lost my father to covid on January 2021, it felt like losing a part of my heart and soul. you are a really strong individual for what I can make out of what you shared. even though when in serious pain, you stay silent so you do not cause any more concerns. I live with my step dad and mom. My step dad is a old retired army/eye doctor, very old fashioned man, who almost can't move on its own, so my mom is basically his nurse and I try so hard to not give her anymore concerns but too often my mind becomes shit and I become useless. It's gotten better with time as I understand better now that the best way I can help her is helping myself feel better. And that's easier said that done, but deep inside, we all know what are the things we do that unable us to be our higher selves most of the time. Anyways, it is not my intention to make this about me, I just wanted to let you know I understand certain parts of your position and I can relate. I recently started therapy. I should've started a long time ago. We need to acknowledge needing to get help in order for help to come. Although you don't need to be a strong person, you are, because it is that obvious if you are able to be alive and write a comment about it on YT. You want to feel better or try to be at peace. And I believe you will get it. You don't have to identify or fill any roles my man, you are not anything but a "being" and we don't fit in any box although many of us create a "persona" to go through society. I'm VERY sorry for all that has happened to you, but it is your life and your experience. And life has found you worthy of going through this, because we are not given in life any situation that we are not able to handle, or at least surrender to. But, I play music and I can only imagine not being able to, it is very difficult. However, it is obvious you are very strong, and although this situation is really taking a toll on you, push through it. There is much in your mind and soul to discover. You might even end up surprising yourself and having fun. But first, we need to face our inner demons to the face and make peace with them, and let them know you want pain no more. Please stay with us and even though your situation is really challenging, you might provide strength and motivation to others just by being and that will come back to you in the form of positive energy. I wish you the best, much healing and recovery and a very fun life full of music, love and smiles. btw, at some point late 80´s Jason Becker was meant to be the world's best guitar player and suddenly he discovered he had Amyothropic Lateral Sclerosis and ended up losing all his mobility. But, that didn't stop him from living his life, getting married, recording albums and inspiring others. Look it up if you'd like, there should be a couple of documentaries of him in YT. Here's a song he actually wrote with his eyes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHrZgaOCqddrb8k much love brother, you are warrior, push through and remember you don't HAVE to be anyone. You already are Being.

@@georgeprecious1036 Old stereotypes that justified the female exclusion from professions have largely been eradicated and censored and yet male caricatures are celebrated. Its largely because they exclude men from the home. It is easier to chastise the male "power structure" whilst little is said of the "female domain." This consists of female access to "parenting" and control of "(domestic) decisions" as a means to wholeness and fulfilment. Women claim they want access to male space but remain dedicated to their tacit agreement and strategic silence in isolating men from this sacred territory. Key to pushing men out of the home is DV. Domestic violence is initiated against men whilst sleeping, inattentive or at the mercy of the weapon, yet these explanations still fail to recognise a larger issue of framing. Even if there is no monopoly on abuse, domestic violence only empahsises the male physical tools whilst diverting from the psychological tools of women. Men may get the shorter end of the stick but still they are told to suck it up and keep quiet because they are violent and aggressive. Sadly these concepts of violence fail to account for power as explored by Bertrand Russell and Thomas Wartenberg. We fail to see women. Even if we accept the idea men are physically aggressive this still disguises the fact men are encouraged and expected to exprrss rage, fury and anger. Anger however is a secondary emotion whilst the primary ones are thise self respecting men cannot express: sadness, insecurity, isolation, shame, hurt. Men are more comfortable lashing out then communicating clearly. Anything other is branded as "sissy", "wimpish" "cowardly" or "unmanly." All of these are the equivalent of being a "rapist" "predator" or "paedophile", which, it is claimed men default to when they forfeit on their duties. Men are not just denied access to children but to expression and emotional selves. On Being A Man is possibly the richest literature exploring this dilemme but as was Money Issues. These must be our foundation texts. Jack Kammer for example retells a comic strip where a woman tells a man to go down to investigate a knock. He asks why "because I'm an accountant." Despite this "women think they are superior to men"; they gestate life but the union kf sperm and egg create whilst the womb far from a magical mythical place is a blood rich vessell. Apparently women create life and men kill spiders. Their straregies are complicated and sophisticated so we cant see and counter their strucutre which is forniddable amd impressive. They maintain it! Men do not have all the muscle. We have lots of the muscle but women have some too and we must both go downstairs in partnership because i am not disposable. We fail to deal with this because we are disregarded and rendered invisible. Unless we demonstrate we are insignificant so our being is equated with doing. We cease to exist in and of ourselves and are onky validated through conquest and acquisition. We are programmed to sacrifice and surrender to women and the kabour market. We must prove we are not sick and prove we are significant. We are wayched constantly to ensure to perifrm this duty whiks surveillance ensures this male machine functions correctly, meaning, accordingly.

I would love to purchase your book. I'm a 40 year old man with a newborn daughter, adult victim of abuse, addiction, jails institutions and even death ( as close as one can get and still have a heartbeat ). I have been clean and sober for 2 years and traded hustling drugs for a 9-5 and a family unit. I struggle with anger, negative self talk, and even the stuff your talking about with desire over discipline. I definitely have no desire to return to the life I left behind, as a matter of fact that is my biggest fear. If I'm lucky and continue my current path I'm confident that the Almighty will allow me to one day walk my daughter down the aisle on her wedding day, if I returned to the old man I'm not sure I'd make it to her 4th birthday. I see you and hear your words, it's helping feed my desire. I been watching your videos for a few days now, surgery has slowed me down enough to do a bit of reflection. If you read this I just want to personally thank you for what you are doing. I'm from DC area originally tho experience may different it's easy to realize we operate on the same emotional wavelength as Men. Guess I just need to understand myself better and be able to Be productive with my emotions and not cause more harm by expressing myself in negative ways.

Yes, it has a lot to do with your desire. However We lack spending more time in The Lord God's presence talking, laughing dancing and Listening to him too. So He can become more real to us than just a image in our minds. In doing so our Faith in Him and our Love for Him will become stronger each time. Also we have a great need to meditating more on his Word. Not just read or recites it but treat the word as it is his actual words speaking to us. So our minds will be renewed and we are transformed as our faith and love for Him becomes stronger. And Praying in the spirit. Not just babbling; reciting; nor chanting. But true worship. So we can be revived and refreshes and empowered by His Holy Spirit. As this also strengthens our faith and make us more aware of This spirit dwelling in us. In other words its more of a Faith and a Love problem. We really must wholeheartedly believe and Love God, with that real and passionate love. When you are passionately in love with a person your hearts DESIRES is to please them. It will drive you to do things you never thought was possible to do. #Facts#Truth#Relationship#100%

Men are terrified of labels. These ideas are used to domesticate and direct them. Men are ruled by this process of discipline kept in place by secret systems of symbols, signals, moods and messages. Far from being tamed by men women train men. We do the dirty work. Through false virtues and slave morals men are tricked into acquiescence and duped into submission. They believe it to be right and honourable despite the pain and anguish it causes. Maybe Naomi Wolf should have wrote about this; the Myth of Male Power.

I would say this highly depends. I think you should have both, discipline AND desire. Do you think the top athletes feel the desire to train that much every single day? In cold environment? In hot environment? hungry? thirsty? etc? I honestly doubt that. They just do what is necessary, cause they know it will bring results in a long run. For me personally when I do not feel like I should do something, or, my desire is not that much powerfull in particular moment, I try to do it anyways. If you do something that You know you SHOULD do no matter the current mood, you will never regret it afterwards. My 2 cents.

My answer to the question of the doctor saying 'You will die tomorrow if you don't do X" was immediately that I would be ok with dying. Depression and desire can't co-exist. That needs to be taken care of first before anything else. The decision to choose life rather than living just to die. It's an extra step before the cultivation of desire for anything for a depressed doomer like me, and goddamn does it seem nigh impossible.

I'm choking back tears man..I weigh more than I ever have, 260lbs. A healthy weight for me is 200 or less. I've felt trapped in a dungeon for 2 decades. I feel like I've "desired" to change this up for years. I'll make progress then fall off the rhythm. I want so desperately to give my beautiful wife the gift that she's given me for 12 years (a beautiful body to enjoy) But where I struggle is the loving myself (self condemnation) and long-term consistency. This video is encouraging. Looking forward to watching more. Thanks so much, Bro.

@@aldololoco1412 Gwiz so theres this new catchphrase going around about "colourism' and of course its rebranded old news, but even so, lets press this using the case of lil kim. If we do we might conclude the victims of colourism indulge in the same victimhood politics as the LGBT brigade 💪🏻 Lil Kim for example "confessed" that she started bleaching because black men did not want her and openly expressed their preference for lighter skinned women. Leaving aside female sexual selection pressure and its inherent unquestioned entitlements, what is she really saying? 🤔 Keeping in mind that the highest power is that which can say "no" she is essentially saying she had less objects upon which to exert her power. She had a smaller pool of men to reject. She had less men to lead on, manipulate, insult, confuse, deceive and belittle. She ultimately willed to be in a better pisition to assume and practice her prerogative ; her female duty to degrade and deny men, and yet, it is woman who need protecting 🙈 If we cease femsplaining and turn to mansplaining we unearth a series of unique or additional insights, for example, the idea that colourism isnt racial but corporate. Men arent as bothered by "colourism" as its just another brand of the many ways in which we are called igly eveeyday. Women however take exception as it undermines their pretences to being gods. For a man to be able to say "no" to them means they cease being women; whilst he becomes one. We as a people have problems all across the board so why would women focus exclusively on this particular aspect of our sickness whilst ignoring and neglecting others. Its as if they treat our pathologies as they do men. If we do dissimilar and see it as an issue of branding we can suggest that the issue is with who gets to define worth, and what trend will be in vogue. Theyre upset that their dashion is out of style but want everyone to buy into their branding. But lets pretend this logic isnt true and presume this claim of colourism has some merit. Let's jump ahead to a future place where darker skinned women are celebrated and cherished, and call it nigtopia. In nigtopia our people still have no control over their education, housing, mass communication, employment, means of production, continent or global image, but the darker skinned women feel real good. Im curious; what problem will this solve? 😐 It brings me back to apartheid azania where the white elite classified the japanese - or was it the chinese - as honorary whites. Under no circumstances would it have made sense to bicker amongst themselves about their designations, unless they were in collusion with the existing antiblack power equation , which most these anti "colourism" claimants are. They arent seeking liberation, but containment. They want to be oppressed peacefully If these people were deeply upset ablut colourism it is unlikely they would be the same ones to mock african features such as complexion and hair and yet they're often the very ones referencing hair as picky, niggerish and nappy, whilst claiming mixed/diluted heritage as pretty or good hair. How can people claim to be against the source of their values and the system defining how they see the world? They arent; they want to refine the system not eradicate it because they remain invested and are the reason it perpetuates. Language, Neely Fuller and other long explained, structures how we see the world. It is as if what we see is ordered by what we think, which is determined by the tools used and programming our thinking. If however we fail to challenge concepts of "fairness" that essentially equate whiteness with purity and right, it is a battle lost prior to a pistol being fired. We cannot think like them and still profess/pretend to be against then. It doesnt make sense. +447939642873 Omalone11@gmail.com

I tell you the truth man, when u wake up in the ghetto everyday living in a broke down trailer, in debt working to jobs and still broke and a non helpful wife and family, when u live in that situation you don’t even wanna get out of bed in the morning. This is the results of my own sin and if God don’t help there won’t be any. God bless

Literally I had a revelation about this no more than 3 hours ago and I ran across this video for confirmation. Lately I’ve been asking Yah to speak to me outside of myself to confirm that it’s Him speaking to me. He used this video to just that. HalleluYah and thank you for posting this. If you’re reading this. Be encouraged. Yah loves you and He wants to reason with you and show you His goodness. He is not hateful. He is not spiteful. He is forgiving, merciful, and gracious. Maybe this is the sign you needed to see and you’ve been in prayer. Amen and Amen. Shalom 🤲🏾

It's not about them being pegged as much as its about them being liberated. Oftentimes people have many contradictory desires and conflicting impulses meaning the thing they seem to most fear is actually that which they most deeply yearn for. Its more to do with giving men space and providing them a context in which to explore and connect with their other self, that one bitterly buried by the wrath of toxic masculinity global patriarchy. You are just homophobic

@@zauriaderico some men are so fragile they put labels on everything rather than just enjoying the raw experience. It really limits them. It's about participating and desire not sexuality and gender . Its explains even more why all men need to pegged. It will shatter their bigoted belief that they are superior to woman by destroying the receiver-recipient relationship. Men think they're superior because they do not submit or get penetrated so if all men are bent they will finally be able to define themselves as being more than sdx and live richer deeper lives of variety that are far more fulfilling. It's not aboutb preference when they're been programmed according to a plan of toxic masculinity. We need to end this idealistic dualistic way of thinking where men see dick as disgusting. Women get it and thats why the freely experiment with other women and never once think they're nasty or disgusting but men think penis is so sacred they never dare "pollute" it by having contact with another. They want to be supreme so desperately it destroys their capacity for expression. TLM emancipates

I've been searching and praying for a way to supplement teaching Christ-likeness through martial arts as opposed to teaching martial arts and Christianity. It is an answer to prayer and a blessing to discover the fruit of the vine that comes through Mr. Jason Wilson leading by example! I am looking to connect my senseis with this sort of curriculum so we can better embolden kids with the quality of teaching they deserve!! Just one thing, the verse that appears at 5:06 is actually from James 1:15. We are honored to view these lessons, thank you for choosing to share with us, sir!
