Great runs brother, bit of kerb slappin here and there but hey that's part of the fun of speed runnin' The little truck did top out early on the stock gearing, exact same thing happened to me doing some test shake down passes on my 16889 this afternoon 😆 These buggies though can get some serious speeds, come to think of it i haven't taken out my brushless 144001 and 124019 out for ages 🤔 Thumbs Up #12 bro 👍

Hey brother nice video I have a question for you though I have the same exact car how do you hook up the LED's
@disciplinerc Жыл бұрын
On the stock receiver there is a port that you can hook up lights, but the connector isn't a common 3wire port. For this car, I changed out the electronics and custom crimped LEDs to a 3M connector which fit into a spare slot on the reciever

Yep, just a simple set of white and reds so I can tell which way it's facing. The tires are Contact foams. They are great at speed and pretty cheap. If you are looking for speed, I recommend stiffening up the suspension with a heavy weight oil for sure and putting some weight on the front end. A 550 size motor and better ESC will help send it to the moon 😅👍
@DarrenLiebswager7 ай бұрын
@@disciplinercnice. Yeah, I have a brushless setup waiting in the wings, starting with a 60a so I don’t blow it up, lol. The contacts seem to be the way to go. I need to add that heavier weight oil though. Appreciate your comments back!
