regarding reverb for horns.... cue it up until you can hear it, then back it (reverb snd) off until it almost dissapears in the mix, then bring it back. Psychoacoustics innit?!?

Thanks for making this video…I just want to know when you change your bus to mono and send them to them mixer did it shrink your files from stereo to mono?? I mean is changing the bus to mono affect your sounds in any way?? Will appreciate a reply thanks

Easy explanation - just keep your stereo files stereo, and you mono files mono. Logic automatically displays all imported files or bounced files as stereo (unlike most other daws) even if it is, for example, just a mono bass track.. it’ll still import as stereo. If it is a mono signal, just flip the input signal (below the channels EQ box) back to mono. Hope that helped. Ps if you mono’fy an actual stereo signal, you’ll hear the difference right away.

I don't have a clue but you don't need a super high level mac to do anything he's doing. Focus on a/d and d/a converters, if anything. But, to be honest, it's all a matter of taste. Lo-fi, after all, is a very popular genre.

Cutting at 20 with a good eq makes sense before hitting your saturation and mixbus compression. Below 20 not musical content anymore and is potentially killing the headroom.
