I'm going to pay you a compliment on your stat distribution, because I had the exact same thoughts regarding using INT as a tertiary skill group, but using one of the INT skills as your signature, so you effectively can buff INT skills up four levels and you get one of them at 4 already.

Hey I had that idea too! Except I only put 2 in INT at the start, to upgrade them later after internalizing Jamais Vu, and boosting a few up to max, the max being 6. I got a 3 3 in FYS and MOT because they get the most benefits from clothing items and so my outfits were focused around that (Man from Hjelmdall shirt + Patrol Cloak for those sweet sweet Shivers checks) and a 4 in Psyche in order to pass the passive check to unlock the Necktie. The Necktie just feels necessary to me. From then on it's all about outfits, thoughts, and point distribution. Yeah... (I personally find it's good to pass up on some conceptualization and encyclopedia passives in order to go get Actual Art Degree and Wompty Dompty Dom Center first and then try getting those passives after internalizing in order to get massive experience bonuses) You'd think this game wouldn't have you so engrossed in its stat system as much as it does with such minimal traditional gameplay. Strategic Dress Up is one of the core aspects of the gameplay loop and making the choice between spending points or saving them up. The actual mechanical design while simple is absolutely perfect for the game because it compliments the main aspects so well and wouldn't be as interesting to have without the already solid functions of the stats themselves and how they manifest in the gameplay.
