Sorry in advance if I ask something stupid, but why is every parameter in the beginning on 6? As far as I remember, there's no NG+ that allows this kind of thing and it's impossible without tweaking the game files.

this is perhaps the least stupid question I've ever been asked about this run, but anyway, it's an exploit, by quitting directly to title screen on character creation (only works on controller, for some reason, not keyboard), the game will shuffle through a variety of debug statlines when you load back in, one of them has everything maxed out. This is what we target and the reason I enter character creation and back out a couple of times.

@@sirVhailor Yeah 100% I get that, I just meant 0 "traditional" gameplay, with you know, complex mechanics and fail states, etc.. I guess dialogue can actually lead to a fail state in Disco so it technically has "gameplay". but I'm sure you know what I mean. Not taking a shot at the game, I don't love it personally but I definitely appreciate it's gorgeous art design and wonderful writing.

Day 1: Ran around shirtless, bellowed some garbled nonsense at the company rep and somehow ended up getting 70 real from her, looked once at the dead body, paid for his hotel room, then read a trashy paperback on the hotel balcony for 14 hours straight. Day 2: Howled at the dock workers in the hotel until they confessed to the crime, continued reading the paperback for another 12 hours. Day 3: Talks to dock workers again, revealing he interviewed a suspect behind Kim's back. Runs miles across the bay to talk to a completely different suspect, glancing briefly along the way at his inexplicably wrecked police car. On the basis of an old sign sprints vigorously into a trap, suspect escapes. Completely blindsided by group of mercenaries trying to shoot up the hotel, gets both of them shot by 0930. Somehow closes the case one day later by pinning it on an elderly deserter.

​@@agrainofsun it's less that it makes it harder for me, load times are pretty consistent on the same computer and more that it's unfair when compared across different people which, yeah, it is. idk. ideally every game would have a load remover but it's not a default feature of the timer program, it has to be made for each game individually
