Eric Bischoff's plan for being as different from the WWF as possible was to sign Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Ultimate Warrior, Curt Hennig, Brett Hart, Ted Debiase, Big Bossman, Rick Rude, Brutus Beefcake, Earthquake, Kamala, Sean Waltman, "Vincent" , Miss Elizabeth, Jimmy Hart, Honky Tonk Man, British Bulldog, Bobby Heenan, and Mean Gene Okerlund and put his flagship show on Monday nights. Yeah, Eric really was an innovator.

There was no real heat there. Both guys made legitimate, honest points. Disco’s story has never changed and Eric corroborated it. Eric had a right to feel the way he did because he is the boss. It was a miscommunication. Too bad Disco left for awhile but fortunately Sting is a good dude and helped get his job back. Communication is so critical.

They had a reasonable disagreement due to miscommunication then straightened it out like grown-ups thanks to Sting. If any heat existed, it was with Kevin Sullivan who seemingly wanted to run Disco out of the company and has said he never understood Disco’s character. Eric liked Disco as a performer and wanted him back on TV immediately. Kevin didn’t. The heat was with Sullivan if anyone.

Conrad is such a fucktard. It's sad to say though, he does get much better shows out of these guys than they do by themselves. He structures shit in a coherent way and is very organized. Have you listened to Eric and JR's old podcasts from before they hooked up with him? They weren't nearly as good because they didn't have anyone pushing them for answers and calling bullshit. The problem for me though, is that it seems like he calls bullshit a little bit too much. He takes Meltzer's garbage as gospel and when it doesn't line up he automatically thinks his co-hosts are lying, when they were the ones actually there! I'm sure they embellish and lie sometimes, but other times it feels like Conrad is digging for shit that ain't there. Not so much with JR, because he doesn't seem to press him as much, but definitely with Eric and for sure with Bruce before he went back to work. No way in hell is Conrad gonna piss Brucie off now, he's a golden ticket to the inside! Their old shows were 100x better, now they're practically WWE advertisements. Don't get me wrong, Bruce was always a shill, but now he's back in the cult of Vince and I can't take anything he says about a controversial subject seriously. For reference: the whitewashed, disgrace of a Moolah episode. Frankly I'm surprised he's even still doing the show, but it probably makes him so much money that it's written into his contract that he can keep doing it. Besides, it's another avenue for Vince to get his version of events out and control the narrative so he probably likes it.
