Nice playing and sound. The FA is a great system and lots of things can be playing on it. The price is good too.

Thank you very much. It's so long I played on Fa-06. But still sleeps here in room, but no motivation to play... 😊

Hey Philip. Can you do a videoFor creating the Sounds of the echo saxophone? And how you can place them into the sample pads? It would help me tremendously. Thank you in advanced.

+Chuck oun :-) I don't use any samples here... The pads I use just for changing the sounds in the sequencer. (Change the sample pads mode, they will starts to light green, not red) So, every sound is played from FA-06, no added samples... There is quite tricky programming for the whole setup and patches too... This is work for many hours of programing and playing and finding the sounds just as it sounds... Not possible to do video again of this process. Just also because I will never make it again the same... Sometimes I try to make something what I want, and it's not working, I say, it's the "bad time"... But sometimes it is done well thanks to many unexpected influences... Sometimes I lost the nice sounds just I too much change some more parameters and I couldn't find it again... So the video of creating process is quite too long project, and if I have a small piece of free time, I want to make some next music, if You understand... So, sorry, that I will not produce such video... Try to play wildly with the time in delay, it makes a lot of that nice effect... Thanks...

+Chuck oun Thanks a lot! Maybe it's quite strange for someone, but I like fun and I'm happy that some people like this crazy music too... :-) The name of sound? All you hear there is quite complex setup fully programmed by me, not only patches, but also whole setup. Just about 20% from whole sound is made using presets... It's hard to explain what ever is there done on this sound. I hope one day I will make some own library for people, if they will like my sounds... But it's question of time to manage all around it... Until that, let's dive into FA-06 and try to make also Your unique sounds. It's very nice way of exploring what this machine can do... Thx.

+Chuck oun It just needs a time, I have the FA-06 2 years, and my first song were a quite boring. It needs a time to go thru, and believe me, if You will make the dive alone in this machine, You can create unique sounds You never imagined... Just take it easy, play first with the sounds inside and just become friends with FA-06, and after about year You will have the taste to try, what this beast can do! And that's the right moment to really keep it and You will be surprised what You can do! ;-) Just enjoy and not be hurry... :-) Cheers!

As I understand the FA doesn't have aftertouch, so you may consider adding a footpedal and program it to increase the LFO vibrato depth. Or just edit that guitar patch so that when you hold the note down, the LFO fades in to add vibrato. Then you can free the pitchstick for increasing distortion level, etc. separately. Do the two buttons above the pitchstick add any interesting articulations? I haven't played with one of these yet at a music shop, only the Jupiters. Might pick one up some day, but really interested in Roland integrating some AIRA tech and their new analog tech into a workstation, so I'll probably just play the waiting game.

Meld Magic Thanks, Yes it's good idea to play with controlling possibilities of FA-06... Nice. On the other hands, it's necessary to learn the play such new setup and be more focused on the controlling, not on the emotional part of play. I'm only occasional player, my interests are also RC car models, etc. So the time which I'm investing to FA-06 maybe is not enough to go to such deepness as it needs... :-) To Your "waiting on proper instrument" (if I understand well): You can wait all live, cause always will be anything more sophisticated in future. My advise is: Let's play! Don't waste time for waiting, buy what you can allow and play. I was starting in 1993 with Kawai K1 and then changed to Roland U-110 + Korg 707, I have no money to allow anything better, but with this "poor boys" I made about 80 songs... Because I didn't have time for comparing and shoping, just for plaing... If I compare any of basic synths which are able to get today, the sound quality is somewhere "in the sky" to those old ones... So don't wait, and play... We are often just comparing and judging but not playing, that's pity, isn't it?... ;-)

Sounds a little like 'Land of Confusion' by Genesis, but not in a rip off way. The sax patch has great expression.

musicgenius100 Thanks! Most of the patches are here very changed and I spent hours by tuning all the setup, until it sounds right for me, before I started to record. It's complex stuff, not only one setting. It's hard to explain what all is needed. I try use all the potencial of this instrument to get sound I like. Try to use master compressor as insert effect and so play with advantage of two multieffects (patch efx+ ins efx) instead of only patch effects... And also try to make own dist.guitar sounds from another than dist.guitar sounds... ;-)

The problem is the sound. This the sound of music you can hear in an elevator, or in a big departement store for frozen food. Music for children. The sound of cheap metal. Aluminium. Tin plate. Can of soda. Frustration.

The only problem here is you Philou. He clearly states that this is a live "disco" session, just for fun. Therefore there is no problem. Maybe he was trying to produce "elevator", "Tin Plate" music. Jealous people are always very quick to criticize. Also, what is "Tin Plate" sound? I think that maybe the problem is that you can not speak English. What is the sound of "Can of soda"? People in glass houses etc. Cretin.
