I had been saying for years I need a clone of Creeds Selection Verte. luckily I just found a competent one from DUA, which is surprising to me because just about everything I have ever tried from DUA does not work for my skin according to my nose, they all have a strange sour tinge to them that is off-putting. 8:25 I can attest too. BUY IT! It is very close to Pure Malt. When I got it and got a whiff off the cap…instantly Mugler’s Pure Malt. I was so shocked I stood up and took a picture of it 😂. I then sprayed it on my wrist. The top note I must admit smelt synthetic but the dry down was very very close to pure malt. I am very proud of my purchase. Sent (IMO): 8/10 (Gourmand - Chocolaty Patchouli ) Longevity: 8/10 (8hrs+) I still smell it on my wrist 24h later and I showered Projection: 8/10 (6ft+) It was too strong I had to tuck my wrist under my desk as I worked

I have never smelled Pure Malt, but all the hype had me intrigued enough to break my rule of no clones. Figured in this case, since Pure Malt is discontinued, I could make an exception. I don't know if it's a great clone of Pure Malt, but it smells fantastic!

I've never smelled Pure Malt because it was discontinued before I got into the game. I never bought it because of the ridiculous mark-ups people charge nowadays. I do smells the nebula star.... it wasnt pleasant at all for me... im little bit disappointed... for me nebula its a fruity bomb with the background of malt it self.... not really bozzy than the original... and the drydown its totally different... no A*Men DNA, just tombacco on the drydown.. meh for me.. because i comparison with the Pure Malt itself side by side... so no for me.. sorry for my bad english

Unlucky you! They reformulated it later and killed it anyway. I was lucky to buy one in 2010. That perfume was IT... If you were looking for perfume to get complements that was the perfume. I remember wearing it to clubs those days and people just straight up ask what you are wearing. Also the original formula lasted days on your cloths.

Pretty sure someone else will have said this, and I know it's a house with a ton of stigma attached, but Dua have made an entire line of clones of discontinued (and sometimes pre-reformulation) scents, including (since you mentioned it) one of Gucci Envy. I believe it's called Covet

A lot of the bigger reviewers talked about dua 3-4 years ago. After a while it all died down. I can image dua shipped out frags to be sponsored but over the years dua has grown and is huge on social media and isn’t in need of the big players. Cubaknows still review some he gets for free. Idk. Just my theory.

Ive never smelt the Pure Havane... But i got a clone from Palermo Perfumes in Melbourne Australia. It smells awesome though. Quickly became my daily frag. Also got PDM Layton and D&G by Man clone from them as well. The D&G is cloned well, brings back memories, and i definitely will buy again when mine runs out. Layton clone, was familiar but sharp noses will know its a little off. All were standard priced at aud35 for 50ml.

Mugler Pure Tonka and Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau. Serge luttens seems to still sell the large bell refill jar since allegedly being discontinued but no more of the spray bottles. Both are 2 of my favorite fragtances and anytime something is discontinued I end up rarely using it in fear of wasting.

Hey Ash, you know how you're a big fan of Carolina Herrera's private line? Well, here in ol' Blighty - the UK, for those who don't know - my partner is a huge, huge, huge fan also. She's on her second bottle of Mystery Tobacco and can't get enough of it.. What's that got to do with anything? This... I got a Fragrance World straight-up clone (yep, even the box as well as the bottle!) called "Tobacco Myth" and guess what? The perfume itself is almost identical! Seriously, we've both had our noses all over it and it's very, very, close indeed. So close, she uses it all the time! Obviously, the Herrera absolutely has the edge on quality, and you'd rightly expect that of course. But the scent itself couldn't be closer. Lasts, too. The cost? Here in the UK, I got it off Amazon for about £15! In US dollars, I'm going to guess that'd be around $23 - $25.. Anyway, just thought you might like to know..
