You're brave. If I let my Discord pick my TBR they would intentionally pick nothing but 1000+ page books.

Thank you for the kind words! I do hope you'll like DHG, it does a lot of unexpected things in a very convincing way.

Ohhhh I'm excited!! I love Hardy's writing so I can't wait! Also The next book in D&C is Allen's fav and I've heard great things from others about it. Let's see... I'll be reading Cold Mountain with a few and quite a few classics like The Age of Innocence.

Jude the Obscure has been on my TBR shelf for a year. I’ll use this for inspiration too. Thank you!!

looks like an interesting selection of books Sarah. I don't really plan my next book too often so never really bother with a TBR, I just read what my mood dictates when I have finished a book. I think Ogres might happen sometime soon. I'm currently reading The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne which I'll finish in June also.

So many great reads ahead! I read Craddock's Risen Kingdom Series earlier this year and really liked it. I am reading a little of everything, I feel like. I have a graphic novel, a modern classic, a literary fiction, short stories, spiritual nonfiction and nature nonfiction.

I haven’t seen anyone I follow read the Ruin of Kings yet so I’m excited to see what you think? I’ve got the first 4 on the shelf ready to go cuz they were on sale, and I have high hopes! I’m also in suspense on your PHM thoughts, one of my favorite audios of all time!

Have a great month Sarah! I want to read Wistful Ascending as well. One day. Deadhouse Gates was almost a DNF for me, but the ending was ok I guess lol.

I am about to start on «The Conscience of the King» by Alfred Duggan (Digital Read: Set during the Anglo Saxon Migration and the creation of the Kingdom of Wessex) and «Speaking Bones» by Ken Liu (book #4 and final book of the «Dandelion Dynasty»). On my June TBR, I have the «Arthurian Age»-series by Sean Poage, the first omnibus of «Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser» by Fritz Leiber, «Badon Hill» by I, Anonymous and «Salammbo» by Gustave Flaubert! Might also start on my first annual GGK read: «Under Heaven» and the «Vindolandia» Trilogy (set along Hadrian’s Wall) by Adrian Goldsworthy. Will also get to «Bold Ascension» by Vaughn Roycroft and «The Prophet of Edan» by Philip Chase, as soon as they are released!

I literally put my hands in the air when you said Gideon the Ninth 😂 you can expect vibes 😊 some people would probably hate me for this comparison but I think it’s a book for Kristoff fans and a book for Kristoff haters that want the Kristoff vibe (does that even make any sense? 😂)

I've actually only read Tess by Hardy too. I was surprised how modern the writing felt.

Jude the Obscure is my third most hated book I've read. Lol. Only Heart of Darkness and Madame Bovary are worse. 😂
