Discord Server Notification Settings

This was a life saver. Friends were thinking I was ignoring them but really I just wasn't getting notified when them messaged me and I couldn't figure out why. Seems I clicked the none instead of all messages because I thought they were asking what I wanted muted instead of what I wanted notifications from. Now just waiting for someone to message so I will know if it works. Is there a place for direct messages just like for the server?

I am the owner of a server...I want one of my channel's notification setting in such a way that only the mentioned person gets the notification. Others can only see the message when they open the app. Please help

In your server setting overview you can select it to only @mention

If you mean in server then that only happens when someone either specifically pings you or the role that you have. Or @everyone or @here

Hey so, I Wana do this in my server but the thing I Wana mute notifications to everyone on the server only if I mention everyone so let’s say I say hi in general chat all my discord server members will get a. Notification which I don’t want I only want them to get notifications when I say @everyone or @here I tried to fix it every way but can’t work I went to server settings and overview than scrolled all way down and went all way down to notifications and set it to only @memtion so can u please tell me why I still get notifications well not me but other members I tested it in my alt.?

In your server settings you head over to overview, scrolling down you should see option called default notification.

How do I change the messages display from black back to white? I did something in the notification section and my message display changed. Instead of the usual white display I get a completely different black display with some timer or something. Hard to describe.

Yes. Go to your server settings where you change the name of your server (desktop). Scrolling down you'll see the option.

Nope, only whenever your name or a role you have, or @everyone/here is pinged.

My red dot notification isn’t showing up anymore I tried doing different steps to reset the discord notification deleted app turn off phone turn back on Disabled badge on iPhone and turned off my notifications on iPhone for discord

Discord on website don't show message pop up I believe. You may still check the notifications section in your Discord settings

Discord releases a new option you can try in your settings then notification from desktop where you can mute all unnecessary servers at once :)
