***UPDATED FIX FOR "DiscordAcePerms: Deferring connection" *** After doing some solo testing trying certain things, and making sure I followed everything exactly said in the video, I found the solution to the problem that I and a lot of others are having in the comments. The solution is to not do this part 4:43, it is not needed in the new version of the discord API and will only cause it to break. DO NOT touch the role list line in the resource badger discord api.

Hi. i am probably just a bit stupid. but i did everything like in this video (my own discord roles etc) but i can still join my server without any roles. what did i do wrong? or is it so i can always join because i am the server owner? also would it be possible to add jobs with discord roles? police, ems and maby others? so when given a role on discord they automatically get police job in server?

How do you connect other scripts to discord ace perms like SEM_InteractionMenu.

You would set the permissions like normal but set the group to the ones setup in Discord Ace Perms

After all that you lost me near the end when adding "add system admins" with the easy admin. Saying you already did it in a previous video. that really hurts people who are beginners trying this. WE cant just go back and forth in videos in the process of trying to copy this. REALLY complicates things and breaks concentration. IT was a really good tutorial up until then for me.

Sadly once a video is complete I remove all resources. I don’t have the time or the ability to reinstall things for future videos unless it’s a full dependency. I said this as it would be the same way I showcased in this video but using easy admin’s (easyadmin.permission) type permissions via server.cfg. Sorry if it was confusing at all.
