MLJ is in my top 5 favorite preachers. I do not agree with him on this point. Mental illness is very real. In my fairly extensive experience, Christains can get clinically depressed. They can have serious anxiety disorders as well.

Even Jesus was a man of many sorrows. Besides this quote is rude and inconsiderate. People have grief that can be prolonged and turn into depression and it’s part of being human.

@@SonOfGodphotography the way to overcome depression is to exchange our depression with praise. We get depressed when we regard lying vanities and forget about our own mercy.
